MY CAMPUS TALE

Hello sweet people!!!Welcome back to my blog. My article will be about my life as a University student, my experiences and the kinds of people I have encountered ever since I joined as a fresher until now. I hope you enjoy reading it and please don’t forget to follow, like, comment and share my blog.

attache, Doreen Atola.

I wish to be a lawyer when I grow up... I wish to be a nurse... I wish to be an architect

Those were some of the dreams I had before joining campus.  Ever since I did, everything changed for me. I saw a lot of interesting opportunities and grabbed one which seemed more interesting than the rest. I decided to major in mass communication, a course which I believe has many opportunities to all, as long as you are a good communicator.

My life as a University student isn’t quite different from my life as a high school student except, from the bullying I had to undergo when I was still in high school. When I joined University for the first time, I told myself that all that should change and no one should make me feel so low and I should get rid of all the negative energies around me, which included, isolating myself from others.

Making friends wasn’t that easy for me. It has never been. It's not that I don’t want to, it’s just people are not that easy to make friends with and that’s why I don’t see if it's necessary for me to make any. My University life, in terms of making friends, is quite hard. Sometimes, when people hate you with no reason at all, like for instance, ever since I joined campus, I've made lots and lots of enemies and most of them treating me indifferently and sometimes not even being recognized by them.

Well...am not writing this down just to gain sympathy, but merely telling you all how my life as a University student is like. It's not like I haven't met some few interesting people who made me smile as well laugh out loud, I have.

Apart from making friends and my past experiences, there have been a lot that I got to experience, such as, working on group projects with people who don’t get along with each other and no matter how much you explain yourself to the lecturer who teaches you that unit, he or she doesn’t listen and is quick to fail you.

My University life isn't as interesting as others, but, am glad that I got to meet different people who tried and are still trying to be part of my life. People who make me smile and laugh at the same time each and every single day. I enjoy my lectures, depending on which lecturer is teaching. Some of the lecturers are too quick with their words and don't give out notes. They give out their notes orally. So, if you miss class...you're done for. Some don't even bother to go further with you, they just assume you are a genius and you'll be fine after surprising you with the 3 words "CAT NEXT WEEK!!!".
